Hi, I’m Martin.

I run ShearLine Solutions, an independent carpentry service specialising in internal door installation, lock fitting and timber door repairs across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

My background includes timber framing and bench joinery, along with many years of practical carpentry work on a wide range of projects. Earlier work included manufacturing and fitting bespoke timber windows and doors for listed properties, as well as producing and installing fine joinery such as hardwood fireplace surrounds and other architectural features.

Today my work is focused primarily on internal door replacement and hardware installation, where accuracy and careful fitting are essential. Much of my work involves replacing multiple doors in existing frames, correcting problems caused by poor fitting or movement over time, and installing locks and hardware so doors operate properly and reliably.

All work is carried out by me personally, from initial assessment through to installation.
